One-Step EquationsThe entry level problems are one-step equations. You will pick exactly one of the addition, subtraction, multiplication or division properties to solve for the value of a variable.
Multi-Step Equations with Multiple Variable TermsThe third level of problems are multi-step equations. You will pick more than two of the addition, subtraction, multiplication or division properties to solve for the value of a variable. You will have to isolate variable and constant terms on each side of the equation in this process.

Two-Step EquationsThe second level of problems are two-step equations. You will pick exactly two of the addition, subtraction, multiplication or division properties to solve for the value of a variable.
Multi-Step Equations with Distributive PropertyThe fourth level of problems are multi-step equations. You will pick more than two of the addition, subtraction, multiplication or division properties to solve for the value of a variable. You will have to use the distributive property at least once in this process.
